Godé KULEMFUKA obtained his degree of private law at the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN) in 2000. Since 2002 he is a lawyer at the bar of Kananga and Kinshasa/Matete.

Between 2005 and 2010 he was a member of the Bar Association of Kananga and has been re-elected since 2012.

After his collaboration with various law firms, Godé has joined the practice of Battajon Lawyers in Kinshasa since 2012.

Between 2011 and 2013 Godé was coördinator of Bureau conjoint des Nations Unies pour les Droits de l’Homme (BCNDH), MONUSCO/Kananga, (sexual abuse division). Since then, Godé defends victims of sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo several times a year.

Between 2013 and 2015 Godé has been vice president of Bureau des Consultations Gratuites (financed by the European Program Appui à la Réforme de la Justice in RDC).

Godé is mainly active in criminal law, commercial and civil litigation, family law, human rights. He is also active in mining law.

Godé teaches at the Université Libre du Kasaï Occidental (Ulko) and Université de l’Ouest du Congo (UOC).

Godé speaks French, English, Lingala and Tshiluba.
