Jean-Pie ILAKA KAMPUSU obtained his degree of law at the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN). Since 2004 he is a lawyer at the bar of Kinshasa/Matete.

His main specializations are corporate law and labour law. He is also specialized in tax law, business disputes and association law, of which Jean-Pie wrote a considerable number of articles and published the reference book “Guide juridique des ASBL et des Fondations and République Démocratique du Congo». Jean-Pie is also an expert-consultant at Programme des Nations Unies pour le Développement (UNDP), which is responsible for the legal aspects of non-profit organizations, which led him to investigate the improvement of relationships between the Congolese government and the voluntary sector.

Jean-Pie is also the formator and director of Centre d’Action pour les Dirigeants et Cadres d’Entreprises au Congo (CADICEC). He was also involved in the research and publication of the economic, social and legal environment of enterprises.

Jean-Pie is also professor and lecturer tax law and business law at the University of Kinshasa.

Jean-Pie speaks French, English, Lingala and Kikongo.
